My Journey as a Woodworker
My woodworking journey began with my honeymoon. My wife & I rented an campervan in New Zealand and we toured the southern part of the country for two weeks. We fell in love with vanlife and we decided to get a van of our own after we returned to the U.S. We also decided to get an empty van and convert it ourselves, as most existing designs in the market weren’t very attractive to us. I got a chance to learn to build canibets, tables, countertops, drawers, and I fell in love with it. Since then working with wood has been a big part of who I am, and I loved every second I spent shaping a piece of nature with my own vision & expression.
Why “The Mission Woodshop” ?
I have a lot passion for minimalistic designs. In my profile you will find pieces for your kitchen, desktop, as well as various sizes of side tables, coffee tables and dining tables. I am drawn to elegant shapes and I hope my vision can bring a sense of peace and serenity into your home.
My workshop resides near the beautiful Mission Peak in the south Bay Area in California. I originally named it “The Mission Garage” since I converted my garage into my workshop. But “The Mission Woodshop” feels more appropriate.
